World Religion Day 2014

World Religion Day is devoted to proclaiming the oneness of religion and the belief that world religion will unify the peoples of the earth. The purpose of World Religion Day is to call attention to the harmony which exists among the spiritual principles of the world’s religions and to emphasize that religion has always been the source of unity.

The Bahá'í sponsored observance was established in 1950 by the Bahá'ís of the United States. 

Festival of Ridván

Windsor Bahá’ís and friends of the Faith "rejoice with exceeding gladness" and celebrate the 'Most Great Festival' which will start April 21st in the afternoon. The first, ninth and twelth days have special signficance and are observed by abstaining from work and school and hosting devotional gatherings.

What would you do if you were denied the right to learn?

The Windsor Baha'i community hosted dinner and free screening of the docutmentary Education Under Fire at the Windsor Recreation Center. Members of the Baha'is community along with friends of the Faith enjoyed an evening of middle eastern dishes, viewed and learned how students in Iran have been systematically denied higher edcuation becuase of their  belief and Baha'i membership. Members of the community served on a panel after the documentary that answered questions from the audiance.
